Karate for Children

Jon's Karate Academy - Tang Soo Do Karate programs for Children and Adults Karate instructors become a major role for children and we know the importance of providing them with our best. Karate can give children the head start they need to excel in life. A structured curriculum has been created, developing the following in children of all ages.

At Jon's Karate Academy, we are very proud of the high quality of instruction we provide for our students. We will instruct your child and enjoy the opportunity to share with you what we have to offer while assisting you in providing direction and what is best for your child at home and in school.

This special program was developed to provide your child with the following benefits.

The emphasis of our program is on establishing self-discipline and courtesy in children. The structure of respect is built into our karate instruction.
The program provides confidence and character building by assisting children to accomplish their goals. Jon's Karate Academy also teaches the child to have self-control over his or her body, developing the ability to stand up to peer pressure and other intimidating situations.
The movements of karate develop coordination, increased strength, and flexibility, which is very important during the growing years.
The awarding of higher levels of karate belts gives children a sense of achievement and accomplishment. We keep this very much in mind. The length of time for achieving belts can be from 3 to 6 months. We award stripes while a child progresses through a particular belt. Training for these tests enhances a child's ability to concentrate as well as plan for and triumph over hurdles. This is an excellent reinforcement of study techniques to better their school grades.
Jon's Karate Academy's instruction also involves free-style competition or sparring. This helps develop a sense of fair play and sportsmanship in a controlled competitive situation.
The foundation of Jon's Karate Academy is its self-defense values. We are very careful to teach children to use common sense before self-defense and never be abusive or offensive. The result of our program is a self-confident child who does not need to bully or showoff to other children.
Finally, Jon's Karate Academy is good, clean fun for children and a great way to burn off energy.

Introductory Offer

The best way for you to see how our program will be beneficial and fun for your child is to try our Introductory Offer which consists of two free private lessons plus two free weeks of karate.

Program Details

Our Karate for Children Program includes:

12 months of training
2 classes per week
45 minute classes
extra help if necessary

Discounts are available for multi-family members.

Our Karate for Children Program is broken up by age into the following groups:

Birthday Parties!

Birthday Parties - All you bring are the Kids, Birthday Cake, Goodie Bags, & Piñata! Let Jon's Karate Academy provide both the setup and cleanup for a hassle free Birthday Party!

The cost for a birthday party at Jon's Karate Academy is $160.00 for students and $175.00 for non-students and includes:

2 hours use of our facility
Up to 10 kids
Pizza
Refreshments
Games
Paper cups, plates & napkins

Additional children are only $10.00 each.
